At Blake Gives Back, our mission is to enhance the lives of children and families confronting cardiac challenges by actively engaging in the prevention, treatment, and research of sudden cardiac arrest in children and teens. Our commitment is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a healthy and vibrant life.

We proudly partner with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to support critical initiatives at CHOP’s Cardiac Center. Through advocacy and fundraising efforts, Blake Gives Back aims to advance the following objectives:

CHOP’s Youth Heart Watch

    • Advocate for and contribute to research initiatives focused on preventing and treating sudden cardiac arrest in children and teens.
    • Promote awareness and education to empower communities with life-saving knowledge and resources.
    • Support screenings to detect cardiac issues early in children and teens.
    • Provide essential equipment, such as Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), for local under-resourced and youth sports groups.

CHOP’s Hope for Families Fund

    • Provides vital assistance, including meal vouchers, parking passes, public transportation, and travel expenses for families facing cardiac challenges.
    • Extend support through short-term accommodations and financial aid to alleviate the burden of medical and personal expenses.

Heart Camp at the CHOP Cardiac Center

    • Heart Camp is a week-long overnight summer camp for young CHOP patients aged 7 to 18 who have received heart or lung transplants or have pulmonary hypertension, enabling them a summer camp experience in a safe setting.

Blake Gives Back is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families affected by cardiac conditions. Together, we strive to create a future where every child can thrive, free from the challenges posed by cardiac issues.
